USS Midway.

Hell yeah! Go Navy!

Point Loma Submarine base. On the phone with Neal, asking for directions out of SD harbor. Can you fire up that mission in DW, where you start at Pt. Loma and sail out to sea for training.

Hornet nest.

It's the ship from the movie, replica, not the real thing.

Oooh, very happy to see the Dolphin on exhibit there

Hopefully I can make it sometime - maybe even this year! She's a unique one for sure

NICE!Thanks for keeping us abreast of your travels 'I am accursed in Napa that I was not there!' @ Catfish; this is the real one!(below) Still in commission: USS Constitution at Boston; As in the movie Master and Commander, this American-built frigate would have seriously out-classed the HMS Surprise. The USS Constitution defeated HMS Guerriere and HMS Java in single ship encounters and British frigates were ordered not to engage American frigates one on one as a result, in the war of 1812. https://www.marinersmuseum.org/sites/micro/usnavy/09/09b.htm

That would be cool! You'll love it. I've got video to upload when I get off work.

Interesting those Hornets look like they are set up for long term storage. Must be a long term maintainence depot of dome sort. Looks like they are also chained to the tarmac.

well, the F/A's are on their way out of service - most of the airframes will have reached their certified lifetimes by now. It's an issue here in Canada as well, where our CF-188s are about to "expire" as well, and there's still a big question mark over their replacement.
