Default Visit From Liberty Ship SS "John W. Brown"

Taken today during my lunch break. One of the last Liberties. And an eye catching mascot on her stern quarters.

Cool shots. Great to see that there are a few of these still around. I visited the SS O'Brien in San Francisco in '08 on my way home from the Subsim meet.

I've been there.
That's probably the best lunch break ever.

I'd give my front teeth to have lunch with Brownie. She looks yummy.

How did you manage to climb up that bow line unnoticed?

Great restoration work on the O'Brien...I saw a "before" picture of her taken when she was laid up, and literally the whole ship was red with rust. Now she's a beaut.

The O'Brein has a really good D-Day diorama. I'll dig through my photos and see if I can find a few pictures of it.
