Excellent, the FAB-5000s are available for mass destruction once more.
Will probably take a while for HSFX to update, though...

Indeed. Although the current ETA is two weeks.

We're going to have to try and get flying again some time. We started out so well with the new Ura Guba bridge campaign but it just kind of trailed off. Which is a shame, because IL-2 1946 is a game we can all play, unlike CloD which is shakey, Black Shark which has been upgraded to a point I can't use it, and A-10 which is beyond my OS.

The patch is a bit unstable though...I've had quite a few crashes, something I'm not used to at all while playing 1946! But then ofc, I play the Steam version now...

I'm sure they'll fix that though, I mean what they've been doing with IL2 is fantastic...my hope and dearist wish is that they are let loose on CloD one day.

Oh, and Task Force, I'd get in some practice with the 190, it's apparently been changed quite a bit, and some people are rather...upset about it, to say the least.
Engine management is much more important now, overheat is going to be much more of an issue, but I like the way they are moving towards a more CloD CEM style of play. |

New IL2 Patch Biggles problem
Hi Biggles
Not DL new patch yet as too busy right now but read on SimHQ.com that there is a supplementary patch to 4.11 to resolve a CTD issue. You may well know this or have tried it ------ but just thought I'd mention. Morty |

You can get a lot closer to flying a Lancaster if you get the UltraPack, since that's got an actual Lancaster in it.

yeah that's true, i'm not downloading 6 gigs, I had all aircraft flying in ultra pack 2 or something like that, I then started patching up and lost them what a waste, 4.11 is worth it just for the simple fact the bombs sight is more accurate than the stock one given . At 4000 meters put a 5000 pounder right in airfeild stage-ing area right where I wanted it.

Just for the record, I no longer can fly quick missions...whenever I press the button, game crashes

You could already do that easily with the stock ones.
