Other than that, this looks to be an awesome mod
Look in \data\Applications for the app OptionsFileEditorViewer. Use that app to view/change the options file. You'll be able to see all hotkeys used with the app

I tried to update to NewUIs_TDC_6_8_0_ByTheDarkWraith for a new SH5 install after several months of SH4. After I reinstalled all the mods - the game crashes before the bunker screens appears. I started removing mods one by one and after removing NewUIs_TDC_6_8_0_ByTheDarkWraith - the dang game runs fine. SH5 exe is v1.2.0

Here is the mod list - last mod is 6.8.0 (in we crash - out game starts fine)

Hi all

Does Akula has the same problem than me? For me it sounds quite the same: => game crash before bunker screen.

@silent steel:
1st: I tried several setting for virtual memory (changed between "controlled by win" and "fixed", using your suggestions)
2nd: I enabled the cleaning via regedit.
3rd: I did NOT tried the 3gb switch.

Ensure your DirectX is updated
You need minimum .NET 3.5 installed for my UIs mod
Do a forum search for C++ redistributable (?) because if you have several different versions of this installed on your system the game will CTD.

Would it be possible to have the fuel level button (on) switch to the battery button (on) automatically when submerged and the fuel level button go to on when surfaced . This would just save me pressing it . Its a little thing but highly annoying . I should be able to click them off or on any time though .

My DirectX version is 9.

I had the .NET 4 extended framework - but removed it and installed 3.5 (just in case). Currently installed >NET is:

Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 Service Pack 1
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5

On the C++ I have the following installed:

Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable - x86 9.0.21022
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable - x86 9.0.30729.17

I tried removing the 2008 C++ but it had no effect on the game crashing before start screen loads.

That error is saying that .NET 3.5 is missing from your system.

I see that your game crashes when my mouse DLL is initializing. Do you have anything in your tray or any services/apps running that want exclusive use of the mouse? If one of them won't 'share' the mouse then it will crash.

Nice idea
How about when submerged , button reverts to battery icon . If other buttons pressed IE fuel , co2 while submerged then button reverts to battery after X amount of seconds . Same for the Fuel button while surfaced .

No sir - MOD validator works like a champ now. Full results below + I cannot find anything which would try and have exclusive control the mouse (standard issue Dell mouse - nothing fancy).

I have the automatically reverting to battery level when submerged and fuel level when surfaced working Great idea I added a new user option for it (AutomaticallySwitchBatteryFuelLevels) that defaults to enabled (True). You'll find this user option under the Automatics tab in the options editor/viewer

I can do the automatically switching back to battery or fuel level after another button is pressed no problem. It will take a little more time than your last idea did though I'll work on it tomorrow
