Default Computer freezes

I play SH4 and recently i got a new coputer but now my game freezes the computer and i have to restart it. Sometimes i can get the desktop but then it is frozen in resolution 800x600, my normal resolution is 1280x1024.


My systems are as follows:

Windows XP 32-bit
Pentium (R) dual-core CPU
E5200 @ 2.50GHz
2.50GHz, 2.00 GB of RAM

NVIDEA GeForce 9800 GT

PhysX CPU acceleration could that be it.

Looks driver related. Update that first.

Cooling would be another suspect.

PSU my third. If it is flaking out (It gets worse the hotter it gets), it will drop you out of your game and likely crash you to a reboot - instant black screen at times.

Without more detail, that is all I have for you.

there was a driver update i was not awere of, keeping my fingers crossed and will let you know how it turns out.

well it turned out to be damaged hardwere got a brand new one at no cost.
