azn if you go to thread tools and subscribe to the thread
then you can just go to your user cp in the top bar and pull up
your subscriptions no need to search.

try that out.

Could've been larger, though. At the end I have 30 torps left and 115 SS shells. I only fired one forward spread, all the others were gun kills.

a) beta w guns as is. {weeks}

I think it should be released when the following are fixed:

Gun sights
Crew positions (at least 3 more on the gun deck)
Forward gun has visible crew.

Never mind the paint, it can be released with a later version or as an optional add-on.

As for playability, the boat is very playable as it is, only some small visual problems left.

BTW, my game crashes when I used your mission, so I used the campaign. Is there other stock missions available with LOTS of aircraft and enemies?

Im trying to work up a pair of missions

I suspect the ctd is from a non stock ship
included that ive overlooked.

the plan is an orientation mission for rookies to learn at ease
a single player mission and an Mp mission.

Ill focus on the single again first and try to get it out.
in the meantime. try deleting the two non functional
mtb units in the mission and see if that solves it.

mush what about adding the twin barreled 3.7cm flak insted of the current one (single barrel 3.7cm you can get from the start of the war)
and maybe increase the RoF (rate of fire) and the ammo load:hmm:

Well Ill admit that the twin 37 looks neat but the reason I chose the
single 37 with no sheild is because I can make that one fire at any rate.
but I cant improve the vilibility on the twin.

I uparmoured and uprated the single no shield if fires as fast or faster than
the stock twin 37 is marginally better armoured than the twin but has the advantage of a clear field of view when under air attack and searching for
targets while on the gun.

Honestly my intention was to go with the twin 20mm no shield up top as well for the very same reasons and is still my intent as far as my own ship goes I think if you swap out the twin 37 on yours and go duke it out for a
while with the Fleet air arm youll see what I mean.

the one thing that has kept coming up in every situation in surface combat
is that situational awareness is the biggest advantage.

honestly the change to the twin twenty really does fill out the gun suite
correctly for what we're trying to do.

remember its about the player experience and the bottom line is that
not being able to see is frustrating and the mod is supposed to be
fun and exciting so seeing the action when you blow the bejesus out
of a half dozen mosquito's does add quite a bit to the Feel of it.

also I do really absolutely recommend that players keep amix
of twenty and thirtyseven as hearing all three types going off at once
is a much better "Feel" also rather than the deckguns and just
one type of AA

thats when a CL bombard me wit his 6inchers but took that guy out before my hull is at between 10-20% then I took the rest of the convout before headin home.
