Looking good Martin!!!:D

Exhaust mod isnt of my own creation, of course it is entirely the work of Privateer. and its beautiful, I think it has a huge potential for adding "Feel" to the game. MM

leeclose 05-17-07 10:54 AM

Yup it certainly adds feel to the game when your playing it:up:

well boys Im back and seem to be able to move shoot and communicate
this week now. I still have to do the repair for the network wiring but
its stabilized in the meantime. sorry about my infrequent appearances.

first things first.

@Privateer.
thanks and thanks and thanks again. the exhuast is beautiful.
and all your other contributions are among the by far most valuable.

@Leeclose sorry about the missed test and the infrequent
posts I know weve both had RW stuff as well but we will get it done.

@ all others that correspond with me regularily if you have general questions and such then by all means send them to me by pm, however
if you have questions specifically relating to uberboot or any part of its
components then please post those questions here. Thats what the
thread is for and then it may help others with similar questions and
problems.

Uber Final on Final approach, (some compromises must be made)

Regards all

Kudos To MM

Firstly, Many many thanks Mush for the 'Uberboot Mod'. I only discovered it a couple of weeks ago and I totally love it. (SHIV gets now only an occasional look). I really do like popping destroyers from 6k or so and watching them get shot to pieces. One does tend to become over confident however, took on 4 destroyers, good vis, daylight and perfect weather, got shot to bits in short order. Went back to being a sneaky bastard. I have only one small niggle, can I get rid of the heading graticule on the 'attack screen' as on my current monitor I find it too cluttered. I bought a 19" WS last week to resolve this issue but my daughter nicked it.
Waiting (im)patiently for your next release, again many thanks.
[Thinks - ports 'Uberboot' to SHIV and creates HAVOC]

Thanks for the encouragement Lazy I need some once in a while.

I am trying to figure which screen your meaning about the heading
indicator though, ????????

and Hello Penny Gray its nice to know your still kicking about.

it wont be too long now I was hoping to have it done by now
actually but RW and network issues have prevented me from
getting anything done this week.

F6 Screen !!

I am trying to figure which screen your meaning about the heading
indicator though, ????????

It's the one after pressing 'F6', probably called the 'Attack Map'.
Note - just finished another mission 190K tons 41 ships including 11 warships Heh heh, Who needs SHIV ? (Still being a sneaky Bastard).

Another note - You deserve all the encouragement you can get, I just wish I'd kept up with MC programming, Reverse engineering the source code could be interesting for a few centuries.

Regarding that It may inspire you to know I have never taken a formal
computer course and have never modded prior to january of this year.
Go for it is my advice.

i noticed somthing with Überboot on the cunningtower. i guess it is a bug

the emblem is a bit messed up. like one part is gone or is placed horizontaly while the other is normal or somtimes verticaly

Mush Martin 05-20-07 06:44 PM

yes and as it has sort of become a low priority issue Im probably not going
to waste my limited resources on getting the uv remapped to correct it.

If I had a last wish for uberboot it would be to get the radar shoved forward
half a yard to avoid it passing through the face of the conning tower.

my problem is that I havent been able to muster enough time and stickum
to develop the requisite hex editing skills.
