Of course he didn't use his MG42 on the survivors. That's what his quad AAA guns are for.

What do they expect? They painted a bunch of cross hairs on the sides to assist in your aiming! :rotfl:

This is from the Artic Single Mission where convoy is unprotected in GWX... no escorts. Mind you the waters here are shallow. 33meters under the keel at periscope depth. This shot is one of the 12 ships sunk... and not all by me. It seems there was a wolfpack close by that nailed at least 4 ships. While on a run for a T3 I saw 4 suddenly start to sink and I hadn't fired a shot yet.

She's resting on the bottom broken in half. Might be a great nesting place for Artic Terns one day. LOL

I actually sank 4 ships with the deckgun. Only 4 HE rounds to put this Victory Cargo to the bottom. I have a witness to it. LOL Must have hit the ammo boxes for deckguns and ammo bunkers.

Sure made me howl like the GWX mascot. LOL

I thought the AI subs couldn't fire torps.

Yeah, had to be Wolfpack's deckguns. And they were very effective too.

I guess the best things about wolfpacks is taht they're taking all the attention to them, so while the escorts are busy killing your comrades, it's just up to you to sink some floating ammobunkers and various oiltankers.

@ Dowly: That is a really nice pic of the lightship!!!!! Excellent!! And the sig is cool to! But: Have the ostrich eaten your pink hat? Looks kinda hungry to me...

PS: To sink that darned ship: Get up close, in the dead of night, get your acetylene/oxygen kit, and burn a hole in that s*cker!:rotfl:

Night is coming closer...

Nothing fancy in this picture, but the sense of foreboding I got at that moment while playing was amazing
