How to install
1) Throw "ColdWaters_Data" into the main folder of the game
2) Add. options are connected at will in the same way
3) Run ColdWaters.exe

-New game required.

Isnt this a direct copy of DOTmod? Are you guys collaborating? Or is it a combination of epic and dotmod together. This is getting confusing...

Collaborating lmao….. no, not in the slightest. Epic&Fun (SkullSS) stole everything from DotMod and is publishing it as part of EpicMod, He was repeatedly told not to, and it even says in the DotMod license that nothing from DotMod can be put into EpicMod. EpicMod 2.33 is a direct rip of DotMod 0.2a.

Well that is quite horrible.
I´m sure that a collaboration could have been achieved if the maker of the Epic mod wasn´t such a C*** about this.

I´m curious to see how the Dot Mod will be developed further.

I guess it will surpass the Epic Mod easily if it continues with such a speed.

Quite interesting version.
As far as I have noticed:
1. UUM missile torpedoes missing from U.S nuc subs
2. When playing with a US sub, Own ship sign on hud is Russian while the target sign is US sub.

Default DotMod is a stolen copy of Epic Mod

DotMod is a stolen copy of Epic Mod, to which they have added their own developments and are now trying to present it as their own mod. 95% of ship and boat files are stolen from Epic Mod, 100% of awards are stolen from Epic Mod, half of weapons and parameters are stolen from Epic Mod. So after that, their claims look ridiculous.

so if you remove PBS & the stolen DotMod Models Which by the way are not In any ways connected to EM as they were made for dot Mod by People that either left EM or were never part of em at all EVER ....!!!!


you really dont have much Original Content DO YOU!!!!! On the Vessel Counts


Just a few kit bash Models & a few original Models you actually made + weapons models

People only have to look at older EM version say 2.32 to see the drastic Massive Changes ranging from code to huds to models Menu settings ect From the stuff you took and shoved in to EM 2.33

Also 95% Humm ....

Hi just a few Qs. Which HuD option am I supposed to use? There seem to be buttons new buttons new methods, and I don't know if i'm setup properly. Also how do you work with heli's? Is there a pdf guide or a reference for this mod I should look for?

Default Land strike question

Hi,

first off, a huge thank you to all the authors of this wonderful mod. It really brings CW to a whole new level!

Secondly, I'd have a question about land stike missions: long story short, I've been already assigned a couple of times to these in my Akula 1984 Atlantic Map campaign.

Now, every single time I've tried these missions, it always goes like this: one (or more) of the enemy ships runs aground and I can't sink them anymore, as they're in too shallow waters and even wire-guided torpedoes hit the sea bottom before reaching them.
So, when I fire missiles at the target (Holy Loch, in this case), many of them get shot down by that ship's anti-missile countermeasures, even if I position my sub between the ship and the objective and get as close as possible to the target.

Is this a known bug? What can I do in order to complete this kind of missions succesfully? I thought about loading something like 20 missiles (instead of the required 8) to account for possible losses due to interception, but this is obviously not an ideal solution (nor does it even guarantee that enough of them won't be shot down anyway).
