Thank you for taking time to answer me. Whenever I install any program I do it as an administrator. Should I uninstall everything? Anyway I could not continue where it is in SH5, right?

Did you copy/paste your SH5 installation around your HDD?

I have no idea Karakenna since I could never reproduce that issue on my system. Your problem is common for SH5/TWoS newcomers and it usually disappears after game/mod reinstallation. Yet, no newcomer was ever able to explain what was the problem with his game in the first place...

My guess is that you have problems with write protected install location or administration rights...But it's just a guess.

Default compatibility

Hi:
My sh5 v 1.2 (installed by DVD) is in Spanish. Would that be a problem to install TWOS? I ask to avoid an uninstall.
Thanks greetings

Default Mission Advance Problem

Operating System: Windows 10
Sh5 version 1.2 via Steam.
started a career after steam install.
download latest WOS to the install folder.
Ran as Admin. All folders have admin priv.
Followed all instructions to the letter.
Started new career and saved/reloaded at dock

I'm having a problem with advancing to the next mission after Baltic Operations. I completed both objectives and was told to dock at Kiel, which I did. I saved and reloaded as per normal.

When I tried to get a new mission, the only one on the map was still Baltic Operation.

So I exited out and went and activated the TWos mod to verify mission advancement. sure enough when I reloaded the save, it said there was a problem detected for mission advancement.

What is usually the cause of this?
Thanks in advance

This is from included TWoS Quick Start Manual...

Campaign objectives are date controlled and EBCW objective will not be available until 4th September 1939.
Make sure to read it if you want to avoid confusion. Also read the description of optional JSGME addons you use...

ok, got it, IMO though, we need a mod to change it to go by objectives met.

Another question. I don't know how this got into the WOS install as I never added the enigma mod but I am receiving coded messages.

Generic Mod Enabler - v2.6.0.157
[C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Silent Hunter 5\TWoS_Parts]

TWoS UI cmd_Auto Target ID
TWoS Aspect Ratio Fix 21x9
TWoS Env Settings - Brighter Nights
TWoS FX_Reduc. Fires and Expl._Incr. Flooding via Zones
TWoS Harbors Chimney Smoke
TWoS Map Contact Colors
TWoS Officer Icons as Stations
TWoS Neutrals Illuminated Only_Until [Date]
TWoS Remove Map Plastic Cover
TWoS Remove Sub Flags

That wouldn't be a good idea due to old "tonnage bar" bug. Objectives can not work that way...

Do I need to quote that Quick start manual again ?

Default Crash on load

Hi, I just joined the other day as I cannot progress with the SH5 story at all, so I installed TWoS in order to improve my lacklustre experience.

Unfortunately that hasn't worked.

My speciications are as follows:
OS: Win 10 x64
CPU: i7-9750H
RAM: 32 GB
GPU: RTX 2060

Game version was DEFINITELY 1.2.0, I checked multiple times.

My install was completely fresh, I had played without mods, but no other mods have been installed other than TWoS.

Generic patcher was activated and successfully restored the snapshot, however I will note that despite the fact the game was 1.2.0 the patcher claimed that the EXE version was 00000000000000, which differs from what it wanted.
Screenshots of my SH5 Root folder and my JSGME are attatched.

Issue occurs at load of any form of save, whether new or old, campaign or mission, just as the screen goes dark when it finishes loading.
