Trying out Pacific Aces for the first time!

All I've done is play with the main menu....

Wow! I love what the Devs did with it. The Pearl Harbor soundtrack and all....

Can't wait to play! Thank you for your awesome work Devs!

Thank you Neal and Steve for giving me this opportunity!

WOW!!!

Quite possibly the best voice/sound work in subsim history. I love what you guys did. Everything even matches up!

In the dive where the sound says "15 degrees on the planes" (something like that) the planes go to 15 and everything. I'm extremely pleased with the sound work in PA.

Love it! If only somebody did that for SH4.

Is this a mod for SH3? If yes, what are the contents of the mod? The name 'pacific aces' sounds quite interesting. Thanks, Zakarpatska

It makes a Pacific campaign for SH2. For an SH3 derivative get SH4.

Somebody buy that guy a drink!

He did an AMAZING job. Maybe you guys could get back together and do a good SH4 mod...

Just for Old Times' Sake.... I'd love a sound mod for SH4 that is up to par or better than PA. I still can't get over how good PA's sound is.

Well you already have RFB, FOTRS and TMO, which are great. I know there was a sound mod for SH3 using similar cinema scene sounds, no idea if there was one for SH4 though

IMHO, PA surpasses all of those in the sound department. I love the crash dive sequence.

TMO is the only one of those that i've actually played. I still do. PA is just great. If the PA Dev Team got back together to do a SH4 Mod...That would be awesome.

Default SH2 twice

Haven’t tried pacific Aces yet. From what I’ve read it sounds really good. Could you have two instances of the game? The original and one with the mod. Thanks.
PS Thanks for keeping this site going. Haven’t played in a long while and just reinstalled SH2 after I saw it on GOG (love the NO-DRM stuff). This site was my next stop, so again Thanks!!!

Yes. There is a way to have two installations of the game. You can copy an installation and use two different icons. That's what I've done in the past.

PA is great! I hope you get to try it out! And WELCOME ABOARD!
