I was sleeping and just saw some activity here. I would extract the file into a folder you create and then view the contents. There may be an install document.
I've only installed the Kurs West mod available on this forum site. Found this on the mod list page. To install the replacement periscope or MG reticule, place the texture in your SOF textures folder, but back up the original first before you do!
