Where the heck is he? I found out what a Geordie Cowboy is!!!!

the iis from a recent news article:

Cole speaks with what's known in the U.K. as a Geordie accent. Particular to Newcastle, many from the region use words such as "bairn" instead of "child," "hinny" instead of "woman," and "me" instead of "my." Intonation tends to rise at the end of sentences, while vowel sounds tend to shift in such as way that the word "brown" ends up sounding more like "brune."

Finally there's a liberal helping of words such as "pet," "lass" and "like"....

Default the Hatch Light

Hi, came across this by accident recently while in the Med

I wonder if I had been on the equator at noon if the light had got right down into the boat.

It wouldn't
The "light shafts" are drawn only when the sun is in view and doesn't have any effect whatsoever on surfaces (like actually lighting them).

Sorry for the technical details, that's a great picture
Fits nicely as a wallpaper.

I'm now waiting for one with the same effect when inside the bunker...

I've been watching this SHV forum with interest. I've yet to find any video where the sub endures attack from depth charges etc.

Has anyone posted any at all?

Would be to see some!
