Mandela effect?
I am having a Mandela effect right now.For those that do not know the Mandela effect is when your memory of world differs from others. The name Mandela effect comes from the fact that many people remember Mandela died in prison in 1980s while others recall he died a free man in 2013.
Well I am having one right now.I am watching Wolfpack345 video and he sets the AOB to 70deg but turns what I believe to be the bearing needle instead and it hits....all 3 torpedoes!! Am I going crazy? For me this is the AOB dial. https://www.subsim.com/tips/wolfpack/aob.ht5.jpgletterbox=false But he turns the other dial that I always figured was bearing. Can someone watch this to tell me if I am going crazy.Watch at 33:30 right when he uses the attack disk. I think he used in the video just the wrong description, because he set the impact angle to 70° and not the AoB. But his German description seems to be wrong.
You can the historical settings and icons here: https://wolfpack.fandom.com/wiki/Torpedo_Data_Computer and here http://www.tvre.org/en/modifications...-s3-calculator But normally should the impact angle and the AoB the same but the German description for the setting of impact angle, you can see in the video a 35:46, is "Lagewinkel". "Lagewinkel" is in English the AoB. And the German description for the setting of AoB is "Zielrichtung". "Zielrichtung" is in English the target direction. So it seems the setup / icons of his used mods are wrong, like we had it in past too: https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/sho...d.php?t=245977

I did same investigation,I looked up the two words in google translate and saw they matched what they are so I wondered if Germany had the dials setup like this.Like with the buoys lights colors being opposite. But your showing me that it used to be backwards in original SH3.
I love you man for stepping up and not letting an old man "think" he is crazy |
