Default A nice diorama of a U-boat deck gun

That I pick up Saturday in our monthly "antique" fair.

Nice find you did there Rhodes.

I thought you could either buy a diecast or make one yourself

I think this one is a home made diecast.

Well, it was made under a roof, so one can call it home, maybe...

No, it's resin or some kind of and who was selling had other "gun/canon" scenes. There was a napoleonic scene, late medieval, XVII century and can not remember more.
May be part of some collection.

Any chance that you found a trademark or date under the base?

I'm thinking that's a find-and-a-half.
Either way, try to find some kind of glass or clear plastic cover to protect it.

No, noting of the kind.
Yes, I already collect some acrylic spares from work to glue and do a cover for it.

Neat find! I saw this nautilus book nook diorama being advertised on facebook the other day, and if I wasn't trying to get rid of everything I think I'd have pulled the trigger. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/bookno...0638030103008/

The one figure in your diorama looks a little like Cavendish from "The Great Escape"
