That is because gamefront is being a schmuck. The country you are from most likely is on the list of blocked countries. The mod needs to be re-uploaded somewhere else.

Playing, having a blast, however... need some help with a ctd hunt.

What's the best way to track 'em down? currently my log files only have the entry from right when I start the game.

Just getting this random occasionally CTD, no error, just straight to desktop, usually when I'm in the middle of the ocean by myself

What computer specs , OS , 32 or 64 bit , ram etc .

...infact yes I used zend as a proxy and got it that way.

Go to the exe in the main game folder (sH5 not the icon ) and right click on properties / compatability . run the program for windows 7 and run as an administrator .

If you travel over 256 TC at any time you will most likely ctd at some point .

Is that due to a particular mod or the game engine? Seems strange they would allow you to go above that TC if they knew it would make the game unstable.

Thats what some people have observed playing a heavily modded game .

Trying your megamod on my second install (slightly adjusted though) i discovered really nice mods i never tried before!

At first launch, biggest immersion improvment is definitely the MadMaxs_SH5_Subdiesel (mono) v2

Quite incredible sound on my rig! I love it

Your Equipment_Upgrades_Fix_v1_4_Patch_1 (available by date) V8 by sober is VERY welcome too

Other nice touch is the water droplet sound instead of the traditional "clic"!

I'll have to use the keymapper mod though, because i really don"t like the stock keys for mouving...gonna be an easy change.
