very simple CRT-style TMA overlay with rudimentary range scale circles (basically drawn in the middle of the screen on the overlay)

Yes, this would be simpple enough for this game, and would make map play much more easy.

Ahoi, scene like from Hunt of Red October. I have zero torpedos, Kilo shots the one, I take a signal and drived trpedo to hit Kilo. Wow!
