Radar (sonar)

I am currently useing 4.0 question when do radar scopes get intalled in subs.
Do i purchase them or do they appear by calender date??I am in July of 1943 no sign of radar scopes inside sub. Can any one anwer and sonar question???

Not sure what "using 4.0" means, but except for NYGM you have to buy radar. Having said that, I never bother with it.
What is the sonar question ?
