scripted? convoys
Is there any way to find out the routes, dates etc. of convoys which appear from time to time whilst playing. The reason that I am asking is that I am toying with the idea of sending coded (enigma) messages to the sub saying eg. convoy westbound AF18 apprx. 21.04. -end. I hope to be able to somehow couple these messages to the 'play' submarine, it could be probable through the Flottila config file which seems to give locations for submarine patrols, not quite sure how it works though at this moment. Just an idea!!:hmm:

Sorry, I actually mean in the game ie. SH3 or GW or NYG or WAC, not the real life ones but those which 'pop-up' when playing. Thanks anyway for your links !! |

The only problem with the RND layer is that it doesnt give you a time that a convoy will be at a certain spot
Also convoys have random route changes so wont always get to a certain area Lastly convoys have a probability chance they will show - around 75 - 80% so they wont always run anyway Nice idea though Hope you find a way to get it to work |
