Support Brighter stars?

I recently returned to SH4 after an absence of two years. I'm running Trigger Maru Overhauled, with Bubblehead's Update. At night, the stars are barely visible, and all but disappear when changing viewpoint. Is there any way to make them brighter and more visible without breaking some environmental or sensor settings?

Bubblehead1980 does use a "Darker Nights" mod in his mix, but I do not know if that has any bearing on the display. What I do know is that at night, you are often better off trying to play the game in a darkened room. Your computer, the display card, and the display itself all influence what you see, as well as couple of in-game settings, especially the gamma setting. If he has a separate mod for the darker nights, and you have it activated, de-activate it and see if that helps.
