I'm back. Not Andonia Katsaros either. But she did work on "Age of Consent" with James Mason and Helen Mirren.

. And some other Big name stars on a couple of big movies, as well as heaps of tv work and photographic modelling.

Sad to say looks like she's been almost forgotten....which is a real tragedy, given what a fantastic woman she is.

She's a Doctor of Marine Biology, and at the age of 16 set a new World Record ( almost dying during the attempt ).

I'm sure Catfish knows who it is.

No.....I'm starting to think it's too hard....even though I've posted her in the long gone "Beautiful women thread" and a tribute to her in the "Music Thread".

She's in her 70s now, but in her younger years...1970s/80s in particular, she was much sought after because of her work with dolphins and other Marinelife both in the Entertainment Industry and Scientific Research. Made quite a name for herself and was recruited by "Hollywood".

Let's solve it so someone else can have a go....

The lady in question is Kathy Troutt.

Born in England but grew up in Australia. At age 16 she set a new world record for Womens Deep Scuba Diving - 320 ft on normal compressed air, and nearly died in the attempt. She got "Rapture of the Deep - Nitrogen Narcosis" Euphoria, and was saved from plunging to her death by an attending Navy diver.

She became a Marine Biologist and worked at the Australian Museum in Sydney and at the CSIRO.

She was a much sought after photographic model - Glamour and commercials. And worked with local filmakers on Marine documentaries and "Age of Consent" with James Mason and Helen Mirren as her "body double".
Also worked at Marineland at Manly and Taronga Zoo looking after their huge collection of fish, turtles, dolphins, sharks, seals etc.

Moved to London, more work with dolphins. Was recruited to work on "The Day of the Dolphin" movie, and later both "Blue Lagoon" movies.
