Time compreesion CTD..ergh

hey fellas, i wanted to see if anyone else has ever had or is having this issue. Im out in the middle of the atlantic patrolling and i get smoke on the horizon so i head towards it...slowly identifying a destroyer with a fleet of merchant ships...yummy i think... so i speed up time a lil to navigate to a decent little position to get a good look ... i use 16X as seems everything else crashed me and hell evn 16X crashed me to desktop...so frustrating this game.. seems i can wait for a week to get there on realistic time or i can tc and crash immdiatley the moment i even get even remotly close enough to identify a ship....

wish when they made this game they would have done it right the first bloody time...using sobers mega mod. If anyone has anytihng on this please advise or should i just sit here and die of boredom and old age by the time i actually get to a decent firing position?

actually scrap that...seems i crash no matter what i do...just approaching the convoy crashes me to desktop :/ is there no other way around this except to let the convoy pass and ignore it? at this rate im never ever going to get through the campaign

That looks like the outcome of a dodgy modlist.

Could you post that here?

I think you need to disable starshels effects...Do you know how to do that?
