bullhorn DTUBH Voice Attack profile for all 16:9 monitors

In downloads I've posted a VA profile for Destroyer that should work for all 16:9 monitors (1920x1084, 2560x1440, 3840x2160, ...). This profile is based off of the hard work of Gwennyd putting together all the commands. All I've done is used a mathematical formula to translate the pixel positions so that it works on 16:9 monitors other than 1920x1080. I've pretty much figured out how to handle the ultra-wide and super ultrawides (3440x1440, 5120x1440, etc) in the 16:9 "family" and should be updating the current one to handle those, too. See update below.

Eventually, I plan on doing the same with other aspect ratios (if I don't go insane before then, lol)

The instructions for the profile are on the download page (pardon my total inability to write decent documentation).

Much respect to Gwen for creating her profile and allowing me to fiddle around with it

Update : I've updated the profile to V1.3 to handle the ultra and super wide :9 screens (3440x1440, 5120x1440, 2560x1080, 3840x1080). The link above is to the newest version.

If there are any other screen resolutions that anyone would like to see, please let me know and I'll see if I can get them figured out (probably in a seperate profile).

Default Bump for update.

Hopefully self-explanatory.

I forgot to ask you, what resolution are you running it at? There are some that I couldn't test it at but the math should hold up.

Hey DT..... I'm at 2560x1440. Worked straight up..... the maneuvering ones are especially useful. Great work.

Thanks, Tazer. Gwenyyd did the hard work of setting the profile up to begin with. I just got it to work with different resolutions without having to have a whole new profile.

I posted on the download page but will report here in case others have a suggestion.

Great addition and got it set up on my Samsung 65" at 3840 x 2160 resolution. Almost everything works great but I have some difficulty getting "New Course" commands initiated or any rudder commands. I have to switch to a different station and issue or go and come back to get it to recognize or sometimes no commands will issue. This seems to happen most at the DRT station and then the TRR. Just as I am getting a good run and the sub starts to turn and I tried to get a course change and it doesn't take the command even if I'm SCREAMING! and I miss the drop. Sometimes on a hard left or right it tries but instead it tilts the screen and pops up the rudder command well but doesn't issue a command.

My first day really playing I'll try to take some better notes next time I play.

Update: much better if I first move my mouse cursor to the course icon click box and then issue the command making sure I do not move the mouse. Then the cursor will do a slight "shake" and the course entry box will open and enter the course. If I try to give a rudder command the rudder box opens but only selects 5 degrees either way and does not enter so I have to click on the scale to get the desired rudder setting.

Update: Played last night with everything scaled back to 1920 x 1080 and everything worked fine with few repeated commands and did not have to change screens. Took course changes and the rudder commands worked fine too.
Thanks for you effort

You're welcome, Stinger. Thanks for the feedback on your problems at 3840x2160. I hate that you had to scale it back to get it to work properly. I would have thought that that resolution would have worked perfectly since it's the same aspect ratio as the base resolution.

I don't have a monitor that I can simulate 3840x2160 on but, if you feel like taking a bunch of screenshots at that resolution I can enter the resolution into the profile and test the calculations. PM me if you want to give it a try.

Default Profile update

Just a quick note to let y'all know the profile has been updated to v1.3.1. Habu_ss spotted a setting that I missed which allows the profile to successfully save your game resolution which might also solve some other problems. It's available here

Just delete the old profile, unzip the new one and install it. Then, if you are using any additional commands, import them into the new profile. You should be prompted for your game resolution the first time you run the new one and it should stay saved.

Thanks again, Habu for the keen eye
