Just be careful when the subject of Advanced Particle Physics and Cosmological Theory comes up. These topics inevitably lead to belief in String Theory, which isn't mentioned by the narrator, but if you're ready to buy into String Theory it means you're also willing to follow people who desperately want to find parallel universes where Orcs hunt for Unicorns and Wizards and Capt. Kirk is still the captain of the Enterprise.

I'm not kidding.

I spent a fair amount of my college time in Physics lectures and String Theory sounded like it could be the bee's knees until you looked into who was selling it.

In this case- when the narrator mentions Wimps and Machos, BEWARE!

Particle Physicists who bought whole-hog into String Theory have spent years trying to prove that Wimps and Machos exist. Its been well funded, usually by corporations with more money than common sense, but it hasn't delivered bupkis.
