I found this video and thought it may be of interest. It includes Mustangs, Hawker Hurricanes and Supermarine Spitfires in addition to The Mitchell B-25, A6M3-22 Zero, BF-109 and FW190 and other aircraft.

~ Enjoy~

I think, I need to Google "what is technological singularity"? Haha

From what I read in the opening of the Wikipedia article on the subject it seems like something that will eventually happen. I don't think it's certain to be a bad thing. Being optimistic I like to think that things like energy, hard work and knowledge of information aren't all that's required in the superior being and that things like emotional intelligence will be an important part of any success. If we can impart or machines can learn what I think is a basic law built into this universe, "that good/love always triumphs over evil", that evil can succeed and be very powerful but it's not sustainable and ultimately destroys itself, then we might be ok and the world made a better place.

Also human beings have a head start and unforeseen advances in the future could also mean machines don't ever surpass all human intelligence, to at least beyond whatever comes after the possibility of technological singularity.

That M3 Bridging video was pretty impressive!

10 minutes to build an 8 section bridge.

I am not that optimistic, i see Boston Dynamics, and instantly think of Philip Dick's "Screamers" and the robot dog "Amee" in this Red Planet film

You are right, but if an independent intelligence evolves and passes some evolutionary stages (sorting out "Asimov's laws" in the process), why should it behave 'positive' towards mankind. It does not have to be 'evil' to think of mankind as useless, and more of a hindrance than an asset.

The improvement in speed of computing and acting will be exponential - I know that no one even seems to understand what this means (in case of covid etc.), but he the advance in technology, 'ethics' and understanding will, if positive, probably end in just leaving mankind behind. In every possible way.
