SH was the first and still the most memorable Sub Sim for me. Back in its day, the graphics and sound were astoundingly good.
While 3D graphics technology have left 2D games like these in the dust, the immersion is hard to get. And oh, manuals. Don't remind me. I even write my own for some sailing games I play.
