I like Crimson Tide (1995), it's the last decent modern subfilm made. There's "Last Resort" airing on ABC later this month, about a rogue Ohio-class SSBN, and "The Last Ship" airing on TNT next year, although that ones about a DDG, and not an SSN/SSBN.

Torpedo Run! Kinda miss seeing ice station zebra and torpedo run after seeing so many times on TCM, but the channel is no longer part of my cable service!

The sinking of the Laconia is a good one. It's a 2-part tv movie, and very realistic. It has that guy from U-571, In enemy hands and Der Untergang in it as Karl Dönitz. So he's in two crap movies and two good movies!
