Default script errors

I am d/l sh4 after a long absence. I am getting the download from a previous purchase on amazon. During the install I get a few script error notifications and are given the chance to proceed or stop. I get through the entire download and am wondering if this is going to be an issue in the long run. Anyone have any insight on this?

What were your errors, Sniper450? Perhaps it was about temporary files? Or, did you install the DirectX v9 library files and codecs? You do need to install DirectX v9.0c and its codec for the game to be able to display 3D. The "modern" Windows no longer has the old v9 library files in it that SH4 requires. Installing v9 does not overwrite your current version, but only adds to it.

I will have to uninstall and reinstall it. I don’t remember but it seemed they were different ones. If I recall the first one said something like an object was expected or something like that. I haven’t done anything with the game yet so uninstalling it is no big deal. I’ll post when I have some thing.
