I have an ASUS EAH 5870 V2 so yes , very smooth . I use antilag and run the game at 32fps at 1920 x 1080 .

what about anti-aliasing? My 5870 will stutter and chug if I turn it up.

AA has to be application controlled . I have the ingame AA slider all the way to the right and AA mode in catalyst is Multi-Sample AA . Use the Environment Mod i put up on the download section and install last , see if that makes a diffrence with AA on high . If it does then you know its mods causing the chugg . 11.2 drivers are out .

I downclocked my card to 5850 specs .
765 gpu and 1125 memory .

if i turn my graphics up i have a pathetic frame rate. epic fail.
i am experimenting with a new program for me. "particle illusion"

sky and water from sh3.
3 different video tracks.

sub conning tower from sh5. river mahem.
water effects: a pyrex bowl and blue screen and "particle illusion".
powerful program.
