I'm testing this mod and I got a question: how do you see remaining battery?

Imported bunch of Italian ships missing for my Mediteranean campaign.
From VonDos, they are just amazing!
Of course had to adapt them for NYGM standarts
Below they are not in my Med environment, just naval academy

Back to the Med files now...

Glad you are breathing life into NYGM's Med Campaign, it really left much to be desired. Always used GWX's Med Campaign. But in all fairness, Stiebler did make it more difficult and challenging to get into the Med as opposed to others.

Hope you keep that feature.

I will not change this feature!

I « only » add GWX Med traffic & new Med harbors to NYGM, of course all adapted
(It will be separated file to activate when playing Med campaign)

It's a bit uncomfortable, but it works. Thanks!

Glad to hear that. It was not difficult to get through with GWX, but then you are not dealing with NYGM destroyers either.

The inclusion of GWX traffic will be welcome as shipping can be sparse with NYGM at times.

Thank you again.

SHO RAOBF?

Thank you for the hard work Fifi, this is great!

But I can't figure out how to get the RAOBF to show with DGUI. I've tried in single missions and career and was careful to make sure realism settings were set to manual targeting - no luck.

Also is there a way to stop the external unit camera from moving with the boat? I love to watch the boat plough through a choppy ocean, but the movement is nauseating. The external free camera is stable.

Hi Orffen,
Glad you like this awesome NYGM mod

I’m not sure there is a RAOBF wheel in DGUI … as I never use it, and there wasn’t any RAOBF in WW2 u-boats (only in WW1)
But can be wrong with DGUI …

Not sure what you are asking with the external camera… to me it’s ok.
I don’t have time actually to check, but when my Med campaign will be done I will

DGUI thread has a screenshot with the RAOBF wheel so I do think it’s part of that GUI MOD.

The camera - if you press F12 you get the “free” external camera which can fly around. If you press ‘.’ or ‘,’ you cycle through each ship in turn and the camera is fixed to the ship. This one moves around with the motion of the boat.

If I compare with ToyotaGT86’s GWX pack, that camera is fixed to the horizon instead of moving with the boat.

Not sure if I’m explaining it well, I can record a video that might make more sense.

You should have these 2 knobs at the bottom of the periscope click on the one on the left I think.
