Correct me if I am wrong - but the original AoP had starforce didn't it?

I ask because I am considering picking up a copy of AoP - and AoP2 looks really interesting - but I am not a starforce fan. Hopefully they go with a different scheme.

Yes, it's out and it's buggy. Well, not as buggy as AOP 1.. but there are some issues that'll make you uninstall it and wait for a patch.

AOP2 ver 1.3.0 hit the shelves June 3rd 2009 here in the US.

I love this copied over POTC game. A lot of the maps are dressed up copies of POTC but with the 1.3.0 ver. I have not yet crashed and have 35 hours of real time involved. ( game keeps track of your real time. )

Get ready to step ashore.

That's a LOOONG way down.

Looks like it's going to be a long time before I finish this game.

So what's the deal with this game?

According to Wikipedia it was released in May 2009, but Game still have it for pre-order (With no release date listed) while Play seem to have no iodea of it's existence, and Amazon say it's currently unavailable, and they've no idea if or when it will be available again. WTF?

Yes, I dont think it was ever released in the UK I had one one order from Gameplay for about a year before I gave up and managed to find an imported US copy on Amazon marketplace. I believe it was also released to digital distribution recently. If you can find one snap it up quickly because the publisher Playlogic went bankrupt yesterday so a UK release now is definitely out of the picture.

Ahoy mates,

Yeah, I got mine as digital download from Gamersgate back in March. I couldn't find a hard copy anywhere in Aus.

Cheers

Is AoP2 better than Sea Dogs? I have Sea Dogs, which is the first game in the series and I never bought any of the sequels because people said they dumbed it down for Disney.
