Default Resources on Japanese Sonar

Wondering if anyone has some information on IJN Active and Passive sonar in WW II? Everything I've found is very basic.

Specifically..

Looking for maximum/minimum ranges, detection depths, etc, angles of beams .

Such as I read U boats often stayed shallow with earlier British sonars because they knew they could not detection them at relatively shallow depths etc. Wondering if same was for japanese sonar.

Basically making some adjustments to sensors and if needed will adjust max operating depths accordingly, which inherently in TMO have a higher threshold due to the need to go deeper and deeper but becomes highly unrealistic. Goal is so that, especially in mid to later war don't have have to go to 550 feet every time evade a escort to have a chance of escaping. Of course, trying to keep the AI a challenge as well, find that balance.

With this and balance have found on depth charges and new damage model, should finally have things worked out but am lacking some key information. Thansk in advance.
