Great
I'm going to look into getting SH3-4-5 when I get my new PC.

Unfortunately, it would appear that the golden age of true sub sims (mid-1990s) has come and gone.

The classic WWII subsims came out in the 1990s. Specifically, Aces of the Deep in 1993 and the original Silent Hunter in 1996. Sadly, many of the novel concepts pioneered in Aces still aren't present in any of the following Silent Hunter U-Boat sims.

You have to admit that SH5 looks pretty fricking awesome. Being able to walk around your sub as the battle rages on............I'm sold.

I've never played any of those.
Sadly I've only played SH2.
