Default Ahoy, Kapitanen. Permission requested to come aboard.

I've been lurking for a couple of weeks. This is quite a community here!

I was a fan of SH1 back in the days of DOS. I must have single-handedly sunk the whole Japanese navy several times over. I'd kind of forgotten about it, until a friend gave me a stack of old games, including SH3, SH4 and SH5 - but sadly no Uplay code for SH5. :/

So... Which version is better?

Any opinions?

Just kidding, lol. I know that was resolved to everyone's harmonious satisfaction long ago.

But seriously; which is best?

Still kidding.

I'm not kidding about having many hundreds of questions, but I've been finding answers here and on the google (mostly here). I've decided to go with SH3+GWX to start, and I'll try a few eye candy mods to go with it.

Thanks in advance for improving my war in the Atlantic!

I went with sh4 mostly because I wasn't keen to skipper a boat for the Nazis...
