Default CAOD may 1941 first mid atlantic wolfpack!

God its been years since I have played enough to make it this far. I was ordered into the mid Atlantic air gap when I came across a large heavily guarded convoy heading towards Halifax. I sent the report to BDU and was ordered to shadow the convoy. I continued shadowing the convoy when I heard the sounds of torpedo's detonating and popped to map view and noticed about eight yellow dots on the map. The attack had begun and the escorts were quickly pulled to the rear of the convoy!

Me and two other boats hit the front from angles and all scored several hits on large freighters and tankers. It was a shooting gallery! I never even had to submerge as i headed out to reload and repeated the attack. Finally on my last attack I was driven under by a destroyer and they had me circled as they dropped on me several times. After several intense minutes I popped up to periscope depth and found a destroyer 450 meters in front and I let three go in a spread and two hit! That was the break I needed as I dove to over 2 hundred meters and headed directly under the approaching convoy. Popping up on the back side the convoy was again under attack by the pack as I headed home torpedo's spent.

Total tonnage 39,000!

I love this old sim!
