Not a screenshot, but a SH3-related image nonetheless...

New "simplified line drawing" recognition manual in progress - discards many minor details (including lifeboats, planes and small portholes), leaving just the most recognizable features (including camo patterns for different ships of the same class). From the top: Empire-type freighter, RM Vittorio Veneto, KM Bismark, HMS Anson.

Unfortunately, submarines cannot have recognition manual pages, as they are not "ships."

Testing the turning radius of the Type IXB, in a rather dramatic way.

One small strip of paint scraped off...

How far up did the PT boat fly?

Nels-Ol takes a hit. The second finished the job.

Two large merchants, sunk within the same convoy.

A Town-class light cruiser sinks after two hits.

Got quite a few pictures here so bare with me.

Early in my patrol I came across a large merchant worth about 10,000 tons, the weather was nice so I decided to save my torpedoes and go with a deck gun attack, here are the results.

The next day just before Midday our luck continues as we encounter another merchant, a small 2,000 tonner this time.

And then we dived to continue our hunt.

Thanks for those words .. I have a relatively "low profile" with the news posting, there are others who are on the ball which is good,
