48yr old -- no clue how to mod -- aka -- noob here
I have been watching JiveTurkey playing ColdWater -- actually was brought to him by Jingles .. He raves about the "New playable sub mod" -- to wit I have downloaded it .. not wanting to screw up the base game -- how does one install it...is it just as simple as moving the "overide" folder into
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cold Waters\ColdWaters_Data\StreamingAssets and bingo it works -- I noticed there is a folder called "default" -- does it go in there? also-- I assume that all the smaller mods like the low visibility and enhanced maps go in after that -- Thanks for the help -- old geezer Scott |

Hi, and almost.
You should end up with 2 folders.... default is the original game - don't mess with this one. override is what the game looks for first (if not there then default). This is where mods go. Some mods won't work with each other, best check in their own topics to see if they do etc. Enjoy
