Default A "morality" lesson from the Chinese...

China believes it has a duty to protect public morality.
Ummm... no thanks. Somehow I think their "morality lesson" would be lost on me, in between the lead paint, melamine milk, and Olympic "sleight-of-hand" tricks to name but a few...

One of the websites that has been publicly criticised, Tianya, is popular with people who post their criticisms of the government.
Surprise, surprise...

Sounds like Great Britain?
If China censors the internet it is antidemocratic, if britain does it is to protect the youth and so...
Also, India passed an act today that enables the police to basically spy on anyone without permission from a judge or something.
Only "bad" countries censor, "good" countries protect...
There was a time when the BBC was a good source of information

That doesn't make any sense, if China killed the religious, why are there even churches in China? What about immigrants who go to church? Even Rush Limbaugh wouldn't make such a senseless statement.

China's censorship takes yet another turn for the worse. But it doesn't surprise me really, supression of free thought is typical in a Communist society. You dont agree with the government then you disappear.

Shame Australia seems to be following the same road with this darn internet filter. Krudd seems so intent on becoming best friends with China he'll follow their example.

Actual chinese food is usually rice complemented with steamed vegetable and meat.

Boring and tasteless. Of course, adding poutine makes anything better, though you can actually feel your life getting shorter while you eat.
