Blinking Lights in my Type IXC?

The title gives you the gist of it. For some reason, at all times, the lights in my type IXC blink. Like warning lights or something. I had a type VIIB for the longest time and never saw that. Is this a feature or some odd bug? And if its a bug, is there a fix?
