Good, I see you got the hang of it.
And I see you got in some target practice on that poor Mogami as well. Example of what you can do with GIMP: first is original (though scaled down), second with "softglow" which really brings out the explosion and splash against dark background, third "oilified" (like oil-painting);

Not going to write the whole log, it was 21,000 tonage(5 merchants and one tanker) by the way and i got my first medal/award (Iron cross 2nd class)

First ship other than a merchant or destroyer SUNKEN
I engaged a large task force, shot down 3 destroyers but both my perascopes were destroyed. So i took the risk. Came back to surface, aimed and shot all the front torpies, emergency dived... and BOOM. A Kongo-Class Battleship sunk
