Hi Mush Martin,

Just had a look at the video (again) and I noticed something I hadn't before. The Swordfish seem to take off from the carrier. But since carriers in SH3 aren't able to launch planes I ask myself: how did Mr Fleck do that? Do you know?

Hi Woof1701,

was away from the formus for some months. Hopfully I will have some time in the next weeks to reinstall SH3 and have some fun hours, especially since GWX came out now. Concerning your question: The planes were not taking off, as you stated correctly. Instead I let them fly very low and at the slowest possible speed over the carrier. I simply plotted a path which flew them past the carrier in the correct alignment. Thats the reason why the camera is below deck in this scene. The problem was, that the planes crashed into the carrier or into each other in 19 from 20 tries (or were to high) etc. Hence this 5 second scene took me more than two hours (I,m not complaining, it was fun to make the movie).

Bye
Mr. Fleck

Thank you Mush Martin for welcoming me back! First I will reinstall SH3 + GWX 2 and then I'll see if I still know how to sink some targets and dodge those destroyers. Hope I get out of port at least ...

Bye
Mr. Fleck
