What are your specs? SH4 isn't happy with many laptop systems. If you have a good specs could be you need to reduce the maximum amount of memory that Vcache uses or allocate more memory...ect.

Did you do a search for that error?

is it possible that your savegames where made on another version of sh4 than you use right now? Perhaps using some mods you dont have installed now?

just an idea ...

cheers

After looking into wth windows 93 is (its real name is Windows NT 3.1) I would say the problem lies with the OS as it is not supported for SH4. The only other thing that looked in question was the video card, but I suspect the OS is the culprit here.

he said he just got the computer so im thinking it was new but maybe its not?

if it is new then it must have come with vista or at the least xp on it

you can get windows 98 for $1 at yard sales so why hes using 93 is not logical unless this computer is 10 years old and cant handle anything else.

as i said before: we need your full specs to help you

Yep, it was Vista, but obvious a work PC as he told me they installed
Windows NT 3 to run with his office network.

Derek, that computer just doesn't have the horsepower to run SH4 either by the amount of memory or the graphics card.

It won't run SH3 either; perhaps SH2 might work.
