Default All hands...

Hello fellow nerds and computer game submariners.

I'm really happy to be here.

I've found Subism a while ago via a google search when I experienced some bugs playing Silent Hunter III.

The reason I've registered is mostly because I decided that I've had it with the stock Medals of Silent Hunter IV but I couldn't figure out what's the best mod for me to use.

I'm playing stock Silent Hunter IV patched to 1.4

Also interssted in trying some mods.
Silet Hunter III really set the bar high with the GWE but overall I think Silent Hunter IV is so much better designed game.

Apart from that I also love playing older WW2 Flying Game simulations.
Right now I'm doing the really old Aces of the Pacific (loved Red Baron and Aces over Europe as a kid).

I'm also quite a history buff interested mostly in WW2 and WW1 but also lots of other eras.

One of my current projects is trying to figure out what the crew composition of a fleet submarine at the beginning of the war looked like.
Not the easiest one but someone gave me a Crew list (with ratings) from a Balao class sub in 1945 and I've narrowed that 89 men crew down to 66 right now and trying to figure out which 6 are the ones that would not've been arround in 1941/1942.
