More Ancient stuff.

The whole story of Alexander from Phillip's death to his death, to me reads like it's been "constructed" like a theatrical piece. And this is one part of it. IMHO this is the "Temple" that was built to take his body back to Macedon.

Beautiful workmanship and definitely a "one off". Fully painted and ornamented with Gold fittings it must have been breathtaking.

The identification of the other figures is still open.
