Squadron is now listing the Revell-Germany 1/144 Type VIIC as being available.

Good news Bill.
When i finish my U-552 , which is going to be good few months from now , i will have closer look at the 1-144 VIIC.
Do not forget i have wooden deck for that model , and im not going to let it go untried.

Default Santa coming late this year

Bill - i still have months of work on my beast so i let you have the deck , as long as you cover the build with step by step , so we can all admire the excellent model which VIIc is.

PS:send me the PM with your address please

Hi Bill & Siara

I just took a quick peek in my wallet and found $60.00 my wife didn't find.

This 57 yo retired kid is off to my local well stocked hobby store and finally get me my own boat.

Wish me luck.

BTW guys see I gotta plan. I get it home , put some dust on the box, put it under the bed then pull it out when she's home and say "WOW I forgot all about this I wonder how long this has been here."

Ive been to the London Holborn model shop today , and to my surprise the new VIIC is on the shelve.
Price is 15.99£ if memory serves me right.
I looked in the box / yes the box was open already / and the model looks to me to be carbon copy of the minenlager version , but the deck is shorter.
Everything else is the same as VIID.

UPDATE : Help need more dust.

Spent all the $60.00 and $35.00 more. Put that on plastic.

Hopped over to HomeDepot and got a complete exacto set and a new Dremel with all the Bells and Whistles. My old stuff is just that Old.

Put it all on the good ole Visa too. Not to worry.

I have a Plan. I think so anyway. :hmm:

Just make sure you have every single base covered. You don't want her to say "Not long, I'd imagine, since I vacuumed under that bed THIS MORNING!"
