And the next update has arrived - although it's a bit on the aerial side of things
Mostly about how fighter combat is implemented. Hope you'll enjoy the read, or at least enjoy the show!

Looks absolutely fantastic, been on my radar for a while now and really looking forward to the game’s release. It’s great to see you are paying a great deal of attention in particular to unit pathfinding and collision avoidance which have always been problematic in naval sims. I see lots of inspiration here from the original Microprose titles TF1942 & 1942 PAW which is a great thing as they were two of my most favourite games back in the day.

I would also like to say that I see you on many of the naval gaming forums and discord channels that I frequent, promoting & discussing not only TFA but many of the other naval sims that are currently in development such as Sea Power and Destroyer - the U Boat hunter, it is great to see that you are ‘non partisan’ , that combined with, your personal commitment , risks you have taken and care and attention you are executing to bring TFA to life speak very highly of you and your love of the genre. I hope the game is a massive success for you and the resurrected Microprose on its eventual release.

It is obvious that TFA is a masterpiece game in the making!

Grand, complex, realistic, and also very beautiful. Truly proud ambassador and guardian of Microprose's tradition of quality, and fun. The way we remember and love so much.

TF-1942 & 1942 PAW left us gamers in awe, and I am confident that TFA will do the same and so much more.

Go TFA Team!

From the Steam Store page I read: “Take Command” and under the game’s Features: “Experience naval command from an innovative first-person perspective. Choose to ride the flow of battle through the eyes of an actual flag officer buttoned up in a flag plot, blinded by our advanced fog of war system; or play in a more relaxed manner with a traditional God's eye view served by a flexible camera system”

This is really an Intriguing design concept for me. I’m very interested to learn more about the “innovative first-person perspective” .

Oh, yes! I'm very interested in that feature as well. That ought to make life in-game interesting!

A video clip posted yesterday seems to show a bridge first-person view that can be rotated around.

Thanks Vox!

We had a few other snippets this week. The others are on twitter, a bit hard to display in here, but the Youtube one for today should do fine

Cheers
