Gargamel, yes there is. It is a mod called Old passenger ship , here in the download section. I don't use it any more. It doesn't look good with the rest of the ships.

Some pretty juicy task forces you've managed to find, since the start of the war have only seen 2 flat tops at all so far. 1 I managed to sink after shooting down all its pesky swordfish planes, other I watched go right past me after leaving Gibraltor with 0 torpedoes left. Despite sink the Nelson and Hood flat tops are like a bug going towards a light; once you see it you go after it no matter what the cost.

Thanks! My "normal duties" consist of 80% TF as objects, there just have to find short-cut to them, because they are between 21-30 knots, and it is fast

Default AI wolfpack attack

AI type VIIC attack convoy with gunfire at the same I was attacking submerged with torpedoes. There were also an IXB and another VIIC on the scene. December 6 1940 grid BF13

It is a pity that AI Uboats can not launch torpedoes.
From the same attack: Black Swan escort exchanging gunfire with a VIIC type uboat.

The whole thing turned out as a blood bath for the Uboats. All AI subs (2xVIIC + 1xIXB) were sunk by the escorts. At least I escaped and sunk 3 ships from that convoy for 15000 tons.
UPDATE:

This was the tactical situation during my escape run

That's what happens when BdU orders them to stay surfaced and only use their guns.

Good thing you didn't get the same orders (or at least had sense enough to disobey them).

@ Vendor : you should try to add some AA and AF on your graph card, it makes a real difference.. (if possible on your rig that is)

@Steed.
Nice screenshots
I have two questions.
1. I like the skin of your IXB but the link in your sig is not working. I get the message "Invalid user Steed1984". Is there any other link please?

2. The ship you have torpedoed first was a small ocean liner?

Looks like its a troop ship, the much more massive one than the more commonly encountered troop transport.

No it isn't either a troop ship nor a troop transport since both these types have one funnel according to the recongnition manual. This one has two.
