i know you found the article on the web and if it's on the web, it must be truth.
however, the only Swedish aircraft carrier that was ever identified, by anyone, is Gotland, and it is an island.

the photo at the kristoffer's universe looks remarkably like a Nimitz-class carrier from the Cold War era.
one can see the A-6's and F-14's parked on the flight deck.
