Default 56 years later, honored at Arlington

Hi All,

Saw this article by Michael E. Ruane in the Washington Post this morning that I wanted to share.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/histo...ragedy-struck/

I was nine at the time but 56 years later, re-reading the account makes it no less disturbing or tragic.

Hi,
The sinking was one of the history’s deadliest submarine disaster. Now that it is being commemorated with a memorial in Arlington Cemetery. I think that took a long time to do that.
