Default SH3 with PlayOnLinux / Mint 17.2 Working

I have managed to get the above working with no issues at all. Installed from disk via PlayOnLinux (available in Synaptic in Mint). Then copied over my patched (GWX, etc) version from my Windows installation, along with the data files from "My Documents", etc.

Works a treat: it means (on my dual-monitor setup) that I can have browsers and so on on my second desktop and no longer have to reboot into Windows.

Celebrating with a Glayva, or Drambuie, whichever comes to hand first.

Default

Further to this, GWX 3, SH3 Commander and JSGME all work correctly.

One thing I noticed is that if you have an accented character in your commander's name, this is used in the folder-name for the career. SH3 Commander generates the personnel file correctly but might be unable to launch it for you (this is due to xdg settings for launching your browser - that is, the character encoding is mishandled).
